Shaw Marketing was a regional advertising agency located in Portsmouth New Hampshire. As Art Director I created award winning packaging, advertising and graphic design. We won top honors in New Hampshire’s Graniteer Awards, an annual event featuring New Hampshire’s advertising and design communities.
I utilized my background in graphic design, print production, and information technology to analyze the possible use of emerging digital technologies and incorporating them when feasible to facilitate smoother workflows, shorter production cycles and better inter-departmental communication.

Database Development
Created a database for the tracking of thousands of images stored in the computer system. This shortened the time spent searching for files thus decreasing production time and increasing profitability.
Information Technology Systems Development
Developed and implemented a computer program to automate the recording and posting of time logs by analyzing the shortcomings of the existing time tracking procedure. This shortened entry time and increased time log accuracy.
Branding & Corporate Identity
Designed corporate identities for financial institutions, healthcare facilities, retail stores and feed companies. Developed identities through the use of market research, color theory and evaluating characteristics for each client. This increased public awareness.
Award Winning Design
Created a unique, award winning package design for several product lines which encompassed many different printing and packaging processes. This increased the clientʼs market share and motivated them to have other product lines redesigned.
